The Wrapper first opened it's doors on the world famous Ocean City, Maryland Boardwalk in the late spring of 1999. Original owner, Michael Schwartz had seen hot dogs baked inside pretzel dough and said ‘Why not other ingredients?’ He started experimenting and came up with his own unique recipe for soft pretzel dough, started filling the dough with a handful of different ingredients, and the rest is history! Today we have over 70 different ingredients, well over 100 standard Wrapper combinations and hundreds of other combinations that are limited only by your imagination. Now ran by owners, Christina and Christopher Kesting from White Marsh, MD. The Wrapper legacy continues on.
